The gunman, a man in his 20s, and three other men ran off and remained at large Friday.

Cops were scouring the area looking for surveillance video that will help them identify the shooter and other possible witnesses.

Since 1979, the Music Building has been renting out studio space to musicians 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s become a staple of the city’s music scene where superstars like Madonna, Blondie, Billy Idol and Metallica rehearsed at one time, according to the company’s website.
