A tad too long in the makeup chair!

Kacey Musgraves experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on “Saturday Night Live” by accidentally leaving a clip in her hair during the show’s final bow.

“The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” Musgraves, 35, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) over a photo of herself wearing a blue denim maxi dress and a large silver clip as she stood next to host Sydney Sweeney.

Country singer Kacey Musgraves poked fun at herself Sunday after reposting a photo of herself still wearing a makeup clip while onstage with host Sydney Sweeney during the show’s closing.
“The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” Musgraves, 35, wrote on X ( formerly Twitter) over a photo of herself wearing a blue denim maxi dress and a large silver clip in her hair.

Despite the blunder, many of the country singer’s fans assured her that the accessory looked like it went with the outfit.

“It looks good on you girl,” one fan commented.

“The way I didn’t even notice because she remains SERVING 24/7,” posted a second person.

“Aww, I thought it was purpose lol, well you looked (and sounded) fabulous either way,” praised a third person.

“The hair clip realizing it’s making its live national television debut,” joked a fourth person.

Musgraves’ “SNL” appearance — where she sang “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to Be True” — marked her third time performing on the the long-running NBC variety show.

Her upcoming album “Deeper Well” is set for a March 15 release.

Musgraves’ mishap wasn’t the only viral moment to occur in studio 8H over the weekend.

In Sweeney’s opening monolouge, the “White Lotus” alum revealed that her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell was in the audienece — and denied the rumors that they’re secretly dating.

Both songs are a part of her upcoming album ‘Deeper Well’ which is set to release on March 15.

“That’s obviously not true,” explained Sweeney, 26. “Me and my fiancé produced the movie together and he was there the entire shoot, and I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever.”

“He even came here tonight to support me. Can we cut to him?” the “Euphoria” star went on, as the camera cut to Powell prompting an outburst of laughter and applause from the crowd.

“Yeah, no, that’s not my fiancé. He’s in my dressing room!” she said, referring to Jonathan Davino.

Powell, 35, later appeared in a skit where he attempted to steal Sweeney away from her boyfriend.

Powell and his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Paris, broke up in early April 2023 after three years of dating. Sweeney, for her part, has been engaged to Davino, 40, since 2022.

In May, she wore her engagement ring for the first time in nearly a year.

Sweeney and the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor have vehemently denied ever being more than friends.
